- By incorporating its CI in its subsidiaries’ names, HDC has enhanced the group’s identity and business links.

HDC completed its transition process into a holding company on May 1st and incorporated the HDC Group’s corporate identity (CI) in its subsidiaries’ and affiliated companies’ names. “HDC,” the group’s CI, stands for “Hyundai Development Company,” which reflects the group’s philosophy of enhancing urban value and the value of life while inheriting Hyundai’s tradition. Based on this CI change, HDC is planning to introduce new services and content exclusive to the HDC Group by reinforcing the group’s identity and business connections.

Through cooperation with its subsidiaries and affiliated companies, including HDC Hyundai Development Company, HDC I&CONS, HDC Hyundai EP, HDC Hyundai PCE, HDC IPark Mall, HDC Shilla, Hotel HDC, HDC I-Controls, HDC Asset Management, HDC I-Service, HDC Young Chang, and HDC Sports, HDC plans to strengthen its business links in various areas including construction and real estate development, manufacturing and construction materials, real estate operation, IT, financial and asset management, and culture and sports.

HDC IPark Mall will enhance the value of real estate by combining its distribution know-how with HDC Hyundai Development Company’s real estate development business. IPark Mall, whose remodeling work will be completed within the first half of this year, will define a new shopping mall paradigm as a global amusement mall equipped with a full range of commercial, cultural and recreational facilities in the areas of shopping, lifestyle, mass media, etc.

HDC I-Controls is an environmentally friendly construction IT company that has played a leading role in improving business and residential environments in the fields of building automation and control, smart homes, eco-friendly LED lighting, and energy efficiency.
